emPLE Partners Lagos State and Bastion Health for International Women’s Day “emPOWERHer” Health Drive

emPLE, one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing insurance companies, is teaming up with the Lagos State Ministry of Health (LSMOH) and Bastion Health to celebrate International Women’s Day 2026 through its community-focused emPOWERHer campaign.

The initiative, aimed at promoting preventive healthcare for women and their children, will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at emPLE’s headquarters on Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

A Day Focused on Women’s Health and Wellness

The health drive brings together public and private sector partners to provide free health screenings, vaccinations, and wellness activities, emphasizing the importance of proactive care for women.

Key interventions include:

  • LSMOH: Cervical and breast cancer screenings; HPV vaccinations for girls aged 9–14
  • Bastion Health: Routine health checks including hypertension, blood sugar, and BMI assessments

The day will kick off with an awareness walk from emPLE HQ along Akin Adesola to Ozumba Mbadiwe, then Muri Okunola Junction, returning to the headquarters. This walk symbolizes collective advocacy for women’s wellbeing. Participants will then enjoy cardio and fitness sessions, followed by comprehensive health screenings.
