NSITF Shines at SERVICOM End-of-Year Awards, Bags Multiple Honours

The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) has recorded a major milestone in public service excellence, as its Managing Director/Chief Executive, Barrister Oluwaseun Faleye, emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 19th SERVICOM Annual Awards, taking home four prestigious honours.

The award ceremony, held on Wednesday, December 17, in Abuja, celebrated outstanding performance in citizen-focused service delivery across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

Recognition for Citizen-Centred Leadership

Barrister Faleye was presented with the 2025 SERVICOM Award for Support and Commitment to Citizen-Centred Service Delivery, in recognition of his impactful leadership style and dedication to improving public service outcomes.

Presenting the award at the Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, the Acting National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer of SERVICOM, Mr. Anthony Olugbenga Oshun, described Faleye’s leadership as pragmatic and results-driven, noting that it has continued to earn NSITF national recognition.

According to Oshun, the SERVICOM Awards aim to:

  • Entrench a culture of service excellence
  • Encourage healthy competition among MDAs
  • Promote best practices in public service delivery
  • Strengthen accountability across government institutions

NSITF Records Multiple Wins

Beyond the individual recognition of its Managing Director, NSITF also secured additional accolades, reinforcing its growing reputation for quality service delivery. These include:

  • SERVICOM Special Recognition Award (“ServicomWorksHere”) for positively impacting lives through efficient and people-oriented service
  • Second Best Performing Nodal Officer (Parastatal) under the SERVICOM MDA category, awarded to Mrs. Gertrude Biosah, Head of the SERVICOM Department at NSITF
  • Second Best Performing Parastatal SERVICOM Unit (PSU) Team C, under the same category

Strong Presence Across Government MDAs

The event attracted high-level participation, with representatives from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOSF), and 29 other Ministries, Departments and Agencies in attendance.

The multiple honours underscore NSITF’s renewed commitment to service excellence, accountability and citizen satisfaction, positioning the Fund as a leading example of effective public sector service delivery in Nigeria.
