Continental Reinsurance Opens Entries for 10th Pan-African Insurance Journalism Awards

Continental Reinsurance Plc, a leading Pan-African reinsurer, has officially launched the 10th edition of its prestigious Pan-African Re/Insurance Journalism Awards. This award program, the longest-running of its kind in Africa, celebrates journalists who focus on key issues and innovations within the insurance and reinsurance sectors across the continent.

The company announced that the awards are open to print, online, and broadcast journalists working in English, French, and Arabic. Journalists from all African countries are encouraged to submit original works published between February 15, 2024, and January 31, 2025.

Entries will be accepted in the following categories:

  • English: Print, Broadcast, and Online
  • French: Print/Broadcast/Online
  • Arabic: Print/Broadcast/Online

Winners will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to advancing insurance-related discussions in Africa. They will receive trophies, cash prizes, certificates, and Pan-African recognition for their exceptional work. Winners will also have the opportunity to network with industry leaders during the awards ceremony.

According to a statement from the company, the awards prioritize articles or features that offer in-depth analysis, uncover emerging trends, or explore innovative solutions in the insurance and reinsurance industry. The submission deadline for entries is January 31, 2025.
