New Board Members for Regency Alliance Insurance Plc

REGENCY Alliance Insurance Plc, has announced the appointment of Clem Baiye, Aikhionbare Osayaba Matt (OON) and Colonel (rtd) Aminu Isa Kontagora as Non-Executive Directors on its board.

The new Directors, according to the company, will bring to bear several years of experience spanning the banking, public affairs and corporate services industry.

According to a statement from the company, their appointments are in tandem with Regency’s strategic focus to become the foremost Insurance and Risk Advisory Services Company in West Africa. But the appointments will, however, be subjected to regulatory approval of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).

Baiye is a media entrepreneur and human resource expert with significant banking and corporate experience. He has built a solid reputation for integrity and a superior grasp of public affairs and is on the board of several companies.

Osayaba is a seasoned statesman with many years of service while Isa Kontagora is a retired Colonel of the Nigerian Army and served in several capacities with distinction.

According to the Group Managing Director, Regency Alliance PLC, Biyi Otegbeye, “The Directors were chosen to strengthen the board with their wealth of experience. Our board of directors consists of distinguished and eminently qualified persons from key sectors of the economy’” he stated.
