Mutual Benefits Insurance and PZ subsidiary to provide cover for customers

MUTUAL Benefits Assurance Plc and Cool World Electrical Retail Stores, a subsidiary of PZ Cussons to provide insurance cover for customers who buys any products from the PZ Cussons conglomerate throughout all retail outlets of the company spread out in the country.

The products include kitchen appliances, Haler Thermocool, Lifemate, Sony, Tefal, Kenwood among others.
By this agreement, all products of Cool World bought by customers throughout the country will be automatically insured by Mutual Benefits Assurance for all household damages such as fire, theft and material damage.

Speaking at the signing of the MoU, the Group Managing Director, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, Akin Ogunbiyi, said that the partnership is aimed at adding more value to the products that are sold by Cool world through insurance policy cover. He said that Mutual is a strong advocate of retail business outlet through grass root insurance cover that will add value to common man.

He added that they are committed to the partnership and hoping to take the partnership to other part of West Africa.
Also, the Managing Director of Mutual benefits General Insurance, Segun Omosehin said that two great brands are celebrating collaboration in the retail segment to add value to the customers, principally to redefine the importance of insurance as a way that is beneficiary to the consumer.

The Commercial Director of Cool World, a subsidiary of PZ Cussons, Olugbenga Kolawole, said that the partnership will bring radical changes to the retail business in Nigeria.

He said that customers do not have to worry of any household or material damage suffered by buyers Cool world products bought in Nigeria because all the products are fully insured by Mutual Benefits Assurance, a trusted and reliable insurance company in the country that will readily indemnify any of our customers who suffers loss.
