Heirs Insurance Launches ₦5 Million Retirement Dream Grant to Empower Retirees and Pre-Retirees

Heirs Insurance Group, one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing insurance companies, has unveiled a transformative initiative — the Heirs Insurance Retirement Dream Competition — designed to help retirees and pre-retirees bring their post-career aspirations to life.

With a ₦5 million prize pool, the competition invites Nigerians aged 50 to 75 years, retired or nearing retirement, and who have previously been in paid employment, to share their personal retirement dreams for a chance to win funding to make them a reality.

Prize Breakdown

Three inspiring entries will be rewarded:

  • ₦2.5 million for the top winner
  • ₦1.5 million for the first runner-up
  • ₦1 million for the second runner-up

To participate, applicants must submit a 1-minute video describing a dream that will empower them to live a fulfilling retirement.

Beyond the Competition: Building a Retirement Community

The initiative is part of the Heirs Insurance Retirees Club, a newly launched community that offers:

  • Networking opportunities for retirees
  • Expert advice on health and financial well-being
  • Resources to enhance post-retirement quality of life
